Firstly, I consider my son (Joshua) and myself "veteran hunters"
at Dixon Farms Whitetails, as we were their first customers back in
2001. This statement alone speaks for itself, because we have returned
every year since — and includes returning again in 2008!
What keeps us coming back? The answer is simple. We look forward to
each and every day of hunting with Dixon Farms Whitetails. We've
created great memories and have encountered tremendous bucks every
year. We know the potential of harvesting a trophy buck is always
possible — and ones chances are good as DFW's lands are home to many
amazing bucks.
Matt and George will listen and consider requests from the hunters
as long as it is safe and practical. One of my favorites..., I asked
them if I could bring my wife Susan to hunt the following year with us.
They discussed this and quickly responded with me to make the
arrangements. Not only did they make appropriate accommodations with the
lodging, but she was treated with every respect any other hunter would
be granted. Susan harvested a fine trophy 9-point buck that year —
it's now mounted in our living room along with others harvested from
the Dixon Farms.

Hunting with Dixon Farms Whitetails is an absolute blast! From the time I first met the Dixons, they made me feel at home. And now, I am blessed to consider them friends. George, Matt and the crew work hard to give their hunters opportunities for success in the field, but in the end, it falls on the hunter.
It's "real" hunting...and sometimes "real hard" hunting, depending
on the hand Mother Nature deals you. But no matter what, you better be
in your treestand, because you never know what caliber of buck might
stroll by! How about a 130",... a 160",... a 200",... or all three at
once. Yes, that sounds like a dream, but possible at DFW!
For the past 2 seasons, I've had close encounters with several great bucks and made many lasting memories. Needless to say, I will be returning to hunt with Dixon Farms Whitetails. I can't wait to get back.
